Jagat Singh II in the 17th century. Originally built as a summer residence for

» Arsi Vilas :
Situated just behind the Lake Palace, Arsi Vilas is a small island built by
Maharana Arsi Singh as a place from where he could watch the beautiful view of
the sunset from the middle of the lake. A platform at the back is designed to
serve the purpose of a helipad, when required.
» Jagmandir
Palace : The palace dedicated to lord Jagannath, is a munificent structure
made of yellow sandstone and inlaid with white marble. Named after Maharana
Jagat Singh, the palace is available for holding various social functions and
parties.
» Shilpgram : Situated near Fateh Nagar,
Shilpgram or crafts village is an interesting place displaying the traditional
crafts work of four states-Rajasthan, Gujarat, Goa and Maharashtra. The camel
and horse rides along with demonstrations by musicians, dancers and artisans
held here are very popular with tourists.

» Jagdish Temple in Udaipur: The Jagdish temple in Udaipur is situated in north of
the entrance to the City Palace was built by Maharani Jag Singh in 1651.
Beautifully carved stone elephants on the steps along with a black stone image
of lord Vishnu as Jagannath adorn the Indo-Aryan temple. Jagdish temple in Udaipur is a holy spot to be visited to pray the Lord Jagadishwar.
